Spay & Neuter Request

***Please note that these clinics are sponsored by local nonprofit organizations in the community from private donors, grants and fundraisers. The schedulers are all volunteers. The clinics are held Monday - Friday, you cannot select your date/appointment time. You (or a designated adult) will need to be available on day of surgery from 7:30am - 4:30pm. You drop off and pick up time will be somewhere in that timeframe. Schedulers will contact you via email, text or phone. Your have 24hours from that to respond and avoid removal from the waitlist. If the program rules will not work for you please do not submit a request, contact your local veterinarian instead.***

Requirements:
• All animals must weigh at least 2 pounds to be eligible for surgery
• All animals must be at least 2 months of age and no more than 7 years of age
• All animals must be at least 3 months postpartum and not lactating
• Animals with prior C-sections or abdominal surgeries are not eligible
• If your pet is in heat or pregnant, please let us know
• If your pet only has 1 testicle showing, please let us know
• For the safety of your pet, at the discretion of the medical staff you may be disqualified for surgery on day of clinic for any of the following, including but not limited to: obesity, infection, wound, scar tissue, heart murmur, overall poor health
• All dogs will need to be on a leash (muzzled if aggressive). If you can not control your dog, please leave him/her in the vehicle while you check in.
• All cats must be in a small, hard plastic carrier or feral trap - No soft sided, backpacks, triangular, cardboard, large carriers or wire crates.
• Copay is dependent on your address - $0-$40 per pet, and will be collected at scheduling to confirm the appointment. Copays cover surgery and DHPP (dogs) / FVRCP (cats) vaccines. Failure to submit the copay as directed will result in cancellation of the appointment. Copays are non-refundable in the event of “no-show” or cancellation in less than 48 hours of the appointment.
• Additional services may be purchased: Rabies vaccine $20, Nail Trim $5, Recovery Cone $10, Pain Meds (for 3 days post surgery) $10, Sedatives (for week post surgery) $25, Microchip $30 some additional services only available for dogs*
• Please note that we receive hundreds of requests weekly. We will contact you as soon as there is an appointment available for your pet. You will be contacted by EMAIL from one of our schedulers. Make sure to check your EMAIL frequently! Duplicate requests only slow down the process.
• This program is for low income families and owned pets. If you are a Rescue Organization, a rescuer or a foster please email us for your options.
